Do you love the excitement of the Kentucky Derby, but can’t get to Kentucky? Does the sound of pounding hooves and the scent of mint juleps in the air make your heart skip a beat? If so, you won’t want to miss Derby Day 2008!
Derby Day is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the
Lucchetti Ranch in Wilton, CA and is a daylong event that raises
money to help support local children in need. The day’s festivities will
include cuisine from local restaurants, wine tasting, mint juleps, car
show, live music, derby
hat contest, silent and live auctions, horse demonstrations, wiener
dog races and the high point of the day – the live televised running
of the Kentucky Derby!
Proceeds of Derby Day will help support five local Children’s Charities:
- Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California
- Sierra Adoption Services
- WIND Youth Center and Shelter
- Project R.I.D.E.
- Cristo Rey High School
